September 28 - October 1: We are closing the store this weekend to drive up to Warrensburg, New York, to shop at the World's Biggest Garage Sale. We're taking with us our "Most Wanted" list of items our customers told us they're searching for. We plan to return to our store with a vehicle totally packed with more retro treasures for you!
July 16, 2007: We have returned from our upstate buying trip with hundreds of new items. Treasures include a large, green and white hand-lettered "Whirlpool" sign, lots of paint-by-number pictures, barware sets, vintage paperbacks and children's books, working kitchen wall clocks, vintage tablecloths and aprons, a Lucille Ball party game, "flower power" platters and trays, a light-up globe, a 3-light floor lamp, a fabulous pink ceramic table lamp with two-tier shade, and lots of kitchenware and cook books. If you live nearby, come visit the store and dig through the piles while we process everything!
July 9, 2007: Today John left for a 4-day retro treasures shopping trip to Western NY State. He's sure to return on Thursday with a car full of new items for the store. We'll post some of the gems as soon as we can take photos...
July 8, 2007: We had two wonderful visitors from Time Warp Toys, an online store that specializes in games and toys from the 1950s to 1970s. Check out their website for a real treat!
